When we act we can prevent and direct. When we react we allow and resist leading.
I have been thinking about how to share my thoughts and some things I have learned to my family and close friends for years. I do not have a Facebook account (never really been a fan), I do not use Twitter and LinkedIn seems too businessy (yes, you will find many 'daveisms' throughout). But the desire to share with my family and friends how I learned about Christ, how repentance is not part of the plan but rather is the plan and what a difference God has made and making in my life. I don't want any mistake about it, I want my family and friends to know to what source they too must look for a remission of their sins.
That is why, I decided to create my own simple site to share things on my mind and in my heart. Some of these 'precepts'/thoughts I may share come from sad, even painful experiences. While others I was simply blessed (It's better to be blessed than lucky) and fortunate to understand or receive the benefit from without much effort.
I can not claim I have an extreme knowledge of God or of the mysteries of life, but I can say I have had many blessings and many experiences that have taught me and have made my life so much easier to enjoy and live.
If you are reading these posts, I probably know you. If I know you, then you know I care and simply hope to influence (share this with) you. I hope to help you because I love you. So don't duplicate my mistakes, but rather lean on me and maybe even learn from me.
My goal is simply to share. For both my sake (I hope I will learn much more than the reader about myself and about my intentions and about purpose, passion and belief and realize how much I have changed and still have need of change in my life) and for yours.

Together we are better. I am not suppose to know it all by myself. I am not capable of success without you. If I am to be than I must be willing and open, as I have had to learn to lean on others and stand on your shoulders. Again, together is bigger than alone (we is more than I).
In short my why includes you. You are family. Family is my why.
